December 2025 Newsletter
Hard to believe the end of 2025 will be here before we know it. Time sure has a way of flying by before we realize it. The year has been a busy one for the Seward Area Quilters. We sew together every Tuesday and every other Sunday. We continue to work on our 4 main community projects, our “Veteran Quilts,” the “Community Quilts,” the “Baby Welcome Wagon” and our “Mountain Heaven” projects.
Our October retreat was great fun; we had a full house with 25 quilters. We had several sewing friends from out of town join us. It is always so good to have our extended quilting friends join our little retreats. While I am not sure how much sewing was accomplished, we certainly had a lot of laughs, good food, great conversations and lots of visiting. Our next retreat is planned for mid-December.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with many happy hours of sewing. Hope to see many of you at the February Retreat in Homer.
