Greetings! What a beautiful spring day - low 40’s, blue sky, sunshine - but it’s still February!! Still too early to get hands in the dirt outside, so I guess we still have time to quilt!
Last weekend was our 28th quilting retreat, and I think they keep getting better and better. There were several 57 of us with 15 being first or second year attendees. YAHOO!! The consensus seems to be that everyone liked the extended time to sew, the mini-massages for three days, separate tables in the room for meals and talking, show and tell - good times! Many thanks and kudos to Jan Holland and Sharon Hale and looking forward to what Kathleen Barkley and Sue Magyar come up with as Seward takes over for the next three years. Thanks also to the attendees for “going with the flow” during Land’s Ends construction.
More exciting quilting opportunities are coming this summer with the classes the education committee has arranged for us. Keep reading to find out more and get signed up!!
Remember our Annual Meeting is April 5, 2025, at 10 AM at Christ Lutheran Church in Soldotna. Besides the meeting we have lunch, show and tell, and great friends to see again.
Until then, happy quilting!!
