Retreat News

The 28th Kenai Peninsula Quilting Retreat was a great success - even with some challenges!   We are calling this the Construction Adventure Retreat!  Lands’ End has been under Constuction since November 2024.  The room we sew in has had a new roof and been enlarged.  The walls were up - temporary lighting and power were put in the room for us. The hotel and construction staff all worked very hard to accommodate the retreat group!  By next year we will have a beautiful room.  Even through the construction we were able to enjoy sewing, show and tell, delicious food and visiting with old and new friends!

Lands’ End has been booked again for next year.  The dates are Friday, February 20 to Sunday, February 22, 2026. The plan will be to open the sewing room on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.  The Seward group will be sponsoring the retreat for the next several years.  We are looking forward to another fun retreat next year - minus the construction!

A big thank you to everyone who helped with all the retreat planning, making gifts and the willingness to help in the making of our wonderful, successful retreat.
